Return & Refund Policy

At Peplix, we stand behind the quality and purity of our research peptide compounds. Because our products are biological and chemical research reagents intended strictly for laboratory and in-vitro use, our return and refund policy reflects the specialized nature of these materials and the safety requirements of handling them.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase from Peplix, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. All Sales Are Final — General Rule

Due to the sensitive, perishable, and research-grade nature of our peptide compounds, all sales are considered final once an order has been fulfilled and shipped. We do not accept returns of opened, used, or partially used products under any circumstances.

⚠ Peptide compounds are perishable research reagents. Returned or tampered products cannot be restocked, resold, or safely redistributed. This policy exists to protect the integrity of research and the safety of all customers.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

Peplix will issue a full refund or replacement in the following limited circumstances:

2a. Damaged or Compromised Shipment

If your order arrives visibly damaged, broken, or with compromised packaging that has affected product integrity, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund. To qualify:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@peplix.bio
  • Provide your order number and a clear description of the damage
  • Include photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and product
  • Do not discard the original packaging — it may be required for a carrier claim

Claims submitted more than 48 hours after confirmed delivery will not be eligible for a damage refund.

2b. Incorrect Item Received

If you receive a product that does not match your order (wrong compound, wrong quantity, or wrong concentration), we will send a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund. To qualify:

  • Contact us within 5 business days of delivery
  • Provide your order number and the item(s) received vs. ordered
  • Do not open or use the incorrect item if possible

2c. Lost Shipment

If your order is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier and has not been delivered within 15 business days of your shipment confirmation email, contact us and we will open a carrier investigation. If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement shipment or full refund at our discretion.

Peplix is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. If tracking shows delivery but you did not receive the package, check with neighbors, building management, or your local carrier facility first.

2d. Verified Purity Failure

In the rare event that you independently verify — through a qualified third-party laboratory — that a product does not meet the purity specification listed on the Certificate of Analysis (CoA), contact us with:

  • Your order number and lot number (printed on the CoA)
  • The third-party lab report showing the purity result
  • The name and accreditation of the testing laboratory used

We will review the claim and, if verified, issue a full refund or replacement. Unsubstantiated purity claims without third-party documentation will not be honored.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind or no longer needing the product
  • Incorrect compound, quantity, or concentration ordered by the customer
  • Products that have been opened, reconstituted, or used in any way
  • Products stored improperly after receipt (e.g. not refrigerated when required)
  • Orders delayed due to customs, import inspections, or carrier issues outside our control
  • Orders placed to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer
  • Dissatisfaction with research results — Peplix does not guarantee research outcomes
  • Orders where the customer was aware of regulatory restrictions in their jurisdiction

4. How to Request a Refund or Replacement

To initiate a refund or replacement claim:

  • Email support@peplix.bio with the subject line: “Refund Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”
  • Include your full name, order number, and a clear description of the issue
  • Attach any supporting photos, lab reports, or documentation
  • Our team will respond within 2 business days with a decision or follow-up questions
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method

5. Replacements vs. Refunds

In eligible situations, Peplix reserves the right to offer a product replacement in lieu of a monetary refund. Where possible, we will offer both options and allow the customer to choose. Replacement shipments are subject to the same purity standards and CoA documentation as original orders.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting Peplix may result in the permanent suspension of your account and inability to place future orders. Fraudulent chargebacks on legitimate orders will be disputed and reported to the relevant payment processor.

7. Research Use Acknowledgment

All Peplix products are sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research purposes. They are not intended for human consumption, therapeutic use, or veterinary use. By purchasing from Peplix, you acknowledge that:

  • You are a qualified researcher or representative of a legitimate research institution
  • You understand and accept the research-only nature of these compounds
  • Peplix bears no responsibility for misuse of products outside their intended research application

⚠ Refund requests related to misuse, attempted human consumption, or use outside of legitimate research purposes will be denied and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
